Wio Helium Monitor is a kind of plug-and-play LongFi hotspot monitor for the Helium network. With its help, you can check if the hotspot is connected to the LAN and has access to the Internet. In conjunction with the Grove-Wio-E5 and an active Watchium Silver/Gold subscription, it is also possible to verify that the LoraWAN hotspot (including Witness) is working properly. In case of problems with Internet / LAN communication, the device will report the problem via LoRaWAN.

The Wio terminal is an Arduino and Micropython-compatible device. It was based on the ATSAMD51 microcontroller and the Realtek RTL8720DN wireless communication chip. The clock speed of the processor is 120 MHz (with the possibility of increasing to 200 MHz). The Realtek RTL8720DN chip allows Bluetooth and WiFi communication, providing a framework for IoT projects. The Wio terminal has been integrated with a 2.4" LCD display, has a built-in IMU sensor (LIS3DHTR), microphone, buzzer, microSD card slot, light sensor and infrared emitter (IR 940 nm).
