WERA Set of 9 ball-end keys, chrome-plated 1.5-10mm 950 PKLS
Ex Tax: 32.81€
A set of high-quality L-key wrenches with a very short arm for hard-to-reach screw connections. For hexagon socket screws. The Hex-Plus profile, providing a larger contact surface in the socket, minimizes the effect of the notch and the risk of deformation of the screw socket. The ball placed on the long arm allows easy work in hard-to-reach installation spaces. Chrome-plated, characterized by high corrosion resistance. The laser-engraved and therefore abrasion-resistant size marking allows quick access to the tools you need. In a practical holder made of wear-resistant material, which allows the L-keys to be securely attached and at the same time easily removed.
9 keys in a two-component holderApplication: for screws with a hexagonal socket
Spindle: chrome-plated, with extra short arm for installation in hard-to-reach places
Working part: Hex-Plus, ball for working at an angle
We rejected classic L-key wrenches because they too often cause deformation of the screw socket, as a result of which the screw can no longer be unscrewed and the key slips out of the socket. Tools with a Hex-Plus profile have larger contact surfaces in the screw socket. The effect of the notch and the risk of deformation of the screw seat are thus reduced. The Hex-Plus profile additionally allows for the transfer of 20% more torque.
Every user probably has L-keys with a self-cut short arm, designed for working in particularly hard-to-reach installation spaces. Their disadvantage is the lack of anti-corrosion protection at the cutting point and the changed structure of the material due to high temperatures during cutting, which reduces the usefulness of the tools for use.
Hexagon socket screws are problematic because the contact surfaces through which force is transferred from the tool to the screw are very small. This may result in damage to the screw seat. Tools with a Hex-Plus profile have larger contact surfaces that prevent this phenomenon. The Hex-Plus profile additionally allows for the transfer of 20% more torque. Additionally, Hex-Plus tools can be used for standard hexagon socket screws!
The ball placed on the tip of the screwdriver allows you to tilt the tool axis relative to the screw axis, allowing you to tighten and loosen it at an angle.
All L-key wrenches have size markings for quick access to the right tool; "Take it easy" L-key wrenches also have a color marking.
Chrome-plated L-keys are characterized by excellent surface protection and high durability.
The wear-resistant material from which the handle is made allows for a firm grip of the L-keys, while making their removal easier.
