In case of assembly or disassembly in narrow spaces (e.g. in the engine compartment), it is not possible to hold the screw with your hand on the screwdriver shaft. It often happens that the screw will fall. Then we have to look for it for a long time, or we won't find it at all, which creates additional threats. TORX® HF tools with holding function developed by Wera have a geometrically improved TORX® profile. The holding force, which results from the pressure of the tool tip and the screw socket profile, allows the screws to be firmly held on the tool.

The basic assumption when designing the Kraftform handle, according to which the hand gives the handle its shape, still applies to this day. Already in the 1960s, Wera, together with the world-renowned research institute Fraunhofer-Institut für Arbeitswirtschaft und Organization, designed a screwdriver handle whose shape was adapted to the shape of the hand. After several years of development, Wera introduced the Kraftform handle to the market in 1968. Since then, the handle has been optimized based on new technologies, but its proven shape has remained unchanged, just like the shape of the hand.

Hard elements of the handle material allow for quick turning without the risk of your hand "sticking" to the handle. Large zones of hard material located around the handle easily glide over the skin of your hand.

The extensive contact zone of the handle with the hand provides greater friction within the soft zones of the handle, enabling the transfer of high torques and preventing the formation of calluses in contact with the edges.

The hexagonal collar prevents the tool from rolling away from the workplace. No more searching for a tool that fell on the floor.

Marking on the handle in the form of the screw socket type and tip size makes it easier to find the screwdriver in a tool bag or at the workplace.
