Already in the 1960s, Wera, together with the world-renowned research institute Fraunhofer-Institut für Arbeitswirtschaft und Organization, designed a screwdriver handle whose shape was adapted to the shape of the hand. After several years of development, Wera introduced the Kraftform handle to the market in 1968. Since then, the handle has been optimized based on new technologies, but its proven shape has remained unchanged, just like the shape of the hand.
