The Adafruit module is equipped with the VL53L4CX time-of-flight distance sensor, which allows you to measure distances in the range from 1 mm to 6000 mm with the precision of LIDAR sensors. The time-of-flight method is based on measuring the time from the emission of a pulse from the infrared laser to its return to the detector. It is independent of the reflection of light from the object. On the board, you can find two Qwiic/STEMMA QT connectors for a seamless connection with the I2C interface of a microcontroller with the same connector. The module works with a logic voltage of 3.3 V and 5 V, supplied with the voltage from 3 V to 5 V.
