USB type C to TTL serial converter 3.3V/5V - CH340E
The module is based on the CH340E system, works with 3.3 and 5V devices. The converter is used in places where a serial port is used for communication, i.e. GPS, GSM, Arduino systems, routers, decoders, etc.
The converter is also used to program some microcontrollers, e.g. Arduino. The original serial applications are completely compatible.

- USB interface compatible with USB V2.0.
- Emulates a standard UART interface, used to update serial peripherals, or expand the UART interface via USB bus.
- Hardware full duplex UART interface, built-in transmit and receive buffer, supports transmission rate from 50bps to 2Mbps.
- Supports MODEM RTS, DTR, DCD, RI, DSR and CTS common switching signal.
- Through an external level conversion chip, it provides an additional interface of RS232, RS485, RS422, etc.
- CH340R supports SIR infrared communication according to IrDA criterion, supports transmission rate from 2400bps to 115200bps.

If you want to use the converter to upload a program to Arduino or similar systems, you must restart the entire external system immediately after compilation (and at the beginning of uploading) (reset button on the Arduino PCB). This is how the programming sequence is defined; if the microcontroller is not restarted, the program may not be loaded.
Or use the DTR pin by connecting it to RST Arduino, then this action will be triggered automatically.
