LOCTITE 243 is a one-component anaerobic threadlocker known for its thixotropic consistency and medium strength. Upon exposure to air, it cures when positioned between closely fitting metal surfaces, making it ideal for applications involving less active materials such as stainless steel or plated surfaces. Additionally, it can tolerate slightly oily threads and does not require heating or special tools for disassembly.
