CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF THE TC2400 INDICATOR
The TC2400 is a small counting and indicating device with an adjustable purpose. adapted for installation in the window of a board or machine. The device housing is equipped with an easily movable yoke. locking device inserted into the mounting hole. The front side shows an eight-position LCD indicator with digits 8mm high. There are four screw terminals on the back of the module. These are the three inputs of the device and the common terminal (ground). to which contact elements or sensors can be connected via a transistor as in the drawing. Activating the TC2400 input involves shorting it to the common terminal (ground). In the first stage of commissioning, the required function (type of device operation) and its properties are selected. Together. one of 23 settings is available (one of 15 time counters, 6 impulse counters, frequency meter, tachometer). Resetting the pulse or time counter. is performed by controlling the reset input. The possibility of resetting using the front button depends on the status of the enabling input. Thanks to the use of CMOS technology and a non-illuminated LCD indicator. It is completely sufficient to power the device with a single LR1 alkaline cell (included). This solution facilitates installation and ensures that the TC2400 operates independently of external power supply.
NOTE: Due to voltage induction. direct connections should be as short as possible (< 2m)
The front button is intended for occasional use only.
