The SwitchBot Motion Sensor is a battery-operated motion sensor that communicates via a Bluetooth Low Energy wireless interface. The sensor is able to record movement in the range of up to 9 m, at an angle of up to 110° horizontally and up to 55° vertically. The device works with an application for mobile devices, the Bluetooth range is up to 80 m or using a WiFi gateway - SwitchBot Hub Mini. The sensor is powered by two AAA batteries (included).
Main features:
- Wide detection range - captures movement up to 9.14 m, angle up to 110° horizontally and 55° vertically. You can adjust the detection sensitivity to your preference
- Light intensity detection - thanks to the built-in light sensor, you can read the brightness level of the room. Information about light intensity is available in the SwitchBot application
- Detects every movement - having a motion sensor gives you a greater sense of security and dispels negative thoughts that a stranger may be in your home. The device works via the app and Bluetooth within a range of up to 80 m and remotely when you are away from home - requires a Hub Mini gateway
- Automatic lighting control - the motion sensor in combination with the Hub Mini gateway (not included) allows you to control other SwitchBot devices
- Voice alarms - SwitchBot Motion Sensor works with voice assistants such as Amazon Alexa and Google Home, which in combination with the motion sensor will warn you with voice commands when they detect unwanted movement in your home
- Long battery life - the sensor is powered by two AAA batteries, which last for up to 3 years and ensure round-the-clock security
