Flexible and durable, the JIMI Home brand retractable measuring tape will be an indispensable companion wherever the work takes place. The body has a streamlined shape that fits comfortably in the hand, and since it's made of TPE material, it's also drop-resistant. Measure in metric only.
Specifications:
As with most retractable meters, the JIMI Home meter has 2 retraction stops. There is a button on the bottom that allows you to adjust the tape retract speed or when you want to take a quick measurement. There is a switch at the top that when pushed down locks the tape from retracting so you can take a longer measurement or take measurements off and record.
The tape itself is coated with nylon on both sides, making it resistant to measurement and number wear. Plus, it's flexible enough to not get tangled or broken during use. Unlike metal bands, nylon has no sharp edges, so the possibility of cutting yourself has been reduced.
We often use tape to measure length from the outside and inside. Therefore, the metal end of the strip is not firmly attached to compensate for the difference that its thickness creates and affects the final dimension.
Thanks to the hook on the side and the elastic cord on the back, you can hang the measuring tape on the edge of a pocket, the edge of a box, or on your wrist or on a hanger in the workshop. So you can always have it with you when you need it.
