SparkFun Audio Codec Breakout is an audio module based on the WM8960 chip that supports stereo speakers with a power of 1 W per channel and has an interface for connecting a microphone. It can also work as a stereo ADC and DAC audio converter. It has a number of useful features, which include advanced on-chip digital signal processing for automatic level control (ALC), programmable signal gain (PGA), attenuation function and much more. The module communicates via the I2S bus.

Main features:
  • Equipped with Qwiic connector and solder pads
  • It includes 6 analog inputs that serve as stereo inputs and allow you to connect a microphone
  • It has outputs for connecting speakers and a headphone output
  • It is characterized by low energy consumption, which allows the implementation of energy-saving projects
  • Compatible with Arduino
