The Yihua 878D soldering iron has an LED display that shows the temperature of the hot air. The temperature of the blowing air can be adjusted with buttons, and the blowing power can be adjusted with a larger knob. The temperature of the soldering iron is set using the smaller knob.
The station has a sensor at the bottom of the hot air flask, thanks to which, when the flask is put aside, the device cools the heating element for 3-8 minutes, after which it turns off (goes into standby mode). This treatment saves energy, extends service life and, above all, ensures greater work safety. Once the standby state is reached, the stop can be completely turned off by pressing a button or turned on by lifting the flask.
The station is used in electronic services for safe soldering of QFP, BGA, SMD, PLCC and other temperature-sensitive components.
