The 80W Prestige solar panel is made of monocrystalline cells manufactured by a German company, a leader in the production of photovoltaic modules in the world. The solar battery is resistant to weather conditions. When purchasing a solar battery, you will receive a serial connector type MC4.
Main features:
- Monocrystalline panels are made of silicon, which has an ordered structure, which results in greater efficiency and performance. This means that the same energy can be produced in a smaller area. As a result, monocrystalline modules have a slightly higher efficiency than polycrystalline panels. For example, polycrystalline panels have an efficiency of 16%, and monocrystalline panels oscillate around 18%. Due to these properties, they are also slightly more expensive than polycrystalline panels.
- The cells of monocrystalline panels range in color from dark blue to black. The production of a monocrystalline cell takes longer and requires higher temperatures, but thanks to this we gain greater efficiency in the cell.
