FT232RL is a USB/TTL converter module of FTDI company, designed to change USB standard signals from 5V to 3.3V.
Features:
- A great module to connect a computer to a microcontroller. USB-UART converter (RS232 TTL) based on the FTDI FT232RL system.
- The module has CTS, RX, TX, DTR pins and VCC and GND power supply.
- Thanks to the built-in stabilizer, we can choose the power supply voltage of the programmed system (5V or 3.3V) using a jumper.
- NOTES:
- - Drivers can be downloaded from the sites described below
- - Proper connection to the motherboard is very important - any other connection can damage the board's electronics or the FTDI.
- - By default, the voltage is set to 5V - you can change it by changing the contact jumper to 3.3V
