The encoder generates two-phase, rectangular pulse signal AB by rotating the shield with opto-isolator. Resolution is 400 pulses per rotation for each phase which gives the possibility of obtaining 1600 pulses per rotation using both signals. The maximum speed of the encoder is 5000 R/min.

On the output of the system is a NPN transistor in open collector configuration which means that you need a pulled-up resistor. The module has system of voltage regulation 750L05 that is powered by DC voltage from 4.8 V to 24 V. The encoder is compatible with Arduino, STM32, PLC and other types of microcontrollers.
