Teaching children fractions and number operations can be difficult for parents. Rainbow Fraction® tiles facilitate children's understanding through hands-on experience with fraction patterns. In addition, they help children to grasp the concept of equivalent fractions and the operations of addition and subtraction more quickly. The set is suitable for children from 7 years old - it can be used by several users. For this purpose, use the coloring sheet at the end of the instructions.
Rainbow Fraction® tiles are suitable for children from 7 years old. They are useful not only at home, but also at school, and children can do the exercises individually, in pairs or in groups. The guide in the package contains not only exercises, but also suggestions for parents and teachers.
The instructions in the package contain instructions for each possible exercise. The purpose of the Fraction Names exercise is to teach children to recognize the names of individual fractions represented on colorful tiles, while Fraction Rum is a card game that practices recognizing fractions represented in colorful pie charts or squares. In further exercises, children learn to write separate fractions, determine which are larger/smaller, and solve mathematical operations such as addition and subtraction.
