PrimaSELECT PLA PRO belongs to the latest generation of high-performance PLA filament for industrial applications. The PLA PRO material is designed to produce very fast with your FFF/FDM 3D printer. Save production time and costs by using PLA PRO filament. The filament can be processed at up to 120 mm per second.
The filament is perfect for demanding applications thanks to the high heat resistance of 95 °C + (after baking). With PLA PRO filament you can 3D print demanding applications easily and reliably on your FFF/FDM 3D printer.
Easy to process with extremely low material shrinkage, high dimensional accuracy, combined with excellent mechanical properties. The finished printed objects have beautiful matte surfaces.
3D print fast with PrimaSELECT PLA PRO on your FFF/FDM 3D printer! Specifically designed for fast additive manufacturing (up to 120 mm/s). The increased process speed means you can reduce your manufacturing time and save valuable time and therefore costs. If you're producing quickly, you'll need a 3D printing temperature of 240 °C ± 10 °C to ensure good flow.
A higher processing temperature also means that our PLA PRO filament can handle more heat. Your 3D printed parts can therefore withstand more heat (up to 95 °C).
Improve your 3D printing results! To get even better strength and higher heat resistance, you can bake your 3D print. In this process, you heat the manufactured part in your oven, preferably on a piece of aluminum sheet. Preheat the oven to 110 °C and bake the parts for 30-60 minutes. Then turn off the oven and let it cool down to normal room temperature with the 3D print still in it. Then take out your optimized parts.
Normally, filament shrinks between 3 - 5% during the baking process. With our PrimaSELECT PLA PRO, we get by with 0.27% material shrinkage. Benefit from the very good dimensional stability of your 3D prints.
PrimaSELECT PLA PRO is as easy to process as normal PLA. If you have a heated bed, we recommend you set it to 55 °C ± 10 °C. The filament adheres well to most 3D printing beds. For even better adhesion, we recommend adhesives or a special permanent printing plate. BuildTak and a PEI underlayment will also increase adhesion with this filament. If you want to work fast, increase the 3D printing temperature (120 mm/s 240 °C ± 10 °C). At slower production speeds, a lower temperature is sufficient (about 50 mm/s 220 °C ± 10 °C).
