PLA Glossy is a unique filament due to its shiny surface. It will produce 3D prints with an extremely shiny and metal look finish. Objects 3D printed with this material, really stand out with their noble look and superior material properties.
PLA Glossy is a new type of PLA that is much stronger than regular PLA and has heat resistance up to 75 °C. This means that you can use it for mechanical parts. For example, you can use the 3D printed parts in a hot car during summer without the risk of your 3D print getting soft.
PLA Glossy is used the same way as regular PLA but in a slightly higher temperature range. Your 3D printing temperature should be between 210 – 230 °C (typical is 220 °C). The filament should be used with a heated build plate for best results. Depending on the size of your 3D print, you can use it within a range of 20 – 90 °C (typical is 60 °C). For regular 3D prints set the print speed to 40-60 mm/s.
We recommend that you use PrimaFIX on your build surface for best adhesion and to avoid warping.
