PrimaCreator FlexPlate powder-coated PEI is based on a ferrite core, which is much more heat resistant than neodymium magnets. This FlexPlate withstands temperatures up to 130°C without any problems, so you can even use it with ABS.
PEI Ultem (polyetherimide) from PrimaCreator is a reusable, relatively maintenance-free surface for both ABS (heated bed) and PLA (hot or cold), other materials such as metal, wood, PETG, ABS+ and many others, yes is also suitable. just fine You do not need any additional adhesives such as glue or tape. PEI is attractive because of the "no surface preparation" conditions that make it easy to work with. Also, printing on PEI eliminates the need for support rafts as the parts stick directly to the surface without any problems.
Instructions for use
Unpack the FlexPlate, attach the magnetic surface to the print bed, then attach the spring steel plate with the PEI attached to the magnetic surface. Remove the protective film from the PEI and re-level the print base. You are now ready to print. The parts should come off the surface with almost no problems. PLA does not require heat, but turning the heated bed up to 45C helps. You don't need any glue, but if you're going to print something large or long, we recommend using the PrimaFix glue stick, which will help your parts stick even better and release even easier after printing. After printing, simply allow the plate to cool, remove the plate and gently bend it. Then you can simply "lift" the model off the board.
Clean the PEI surface with 70-91% isopropyl alcohol before each print to make sure you remove any grease or other residue from the surface. This will help to significantly increase the adhesion of the surface.
Clean PEI with acetone, isopropyl alcohol, methyl alcohol or soap after use.
