Replaceable, magnetic PEI printing surface

The printer is equipped with a new, magnetic MK52 worktable, which has a removable spring steel plate covered with a smooth PEI (polyether imide) sheet. Due to this, the printing surface is completely maintenance-free, and the prints adhere perfectly to the work table during work, without sticking to it, and allow you to easily remove the model from the station after the printing process is over.

The new Y-axis frame, made of aluminum profiles, ensures high rigidity and maintains the slim shape known from previous versions of the printer. The milled duralumin frame has also been optimized for the work area, allowing 10mm to be added in the Z-axis – the Z-axis range is 210mm.

New Trinamic 2130 drivers and a special fan from the famous Noctua brand make the MK3S+ printer extremely quiet in discrete mode, although even in normal mode it is quieter than 99% of 3D printers on the market. In normal mode, the maximum print speed has also been increased - it can now reach an efficiency of over 200mm/s!

The MK3S+ model can continue printing after a complete power loss. The device detects a power failure and turns off the table and extruder heating, but resumes printing from where it left off when power is restored.

The printer's calibration is fully automatic - both zeroing of the X and Y axes and leveling of the heated print bed are done without user intervention. This allows you to achieve even greater accuracy, and the work becomes much faster and easier.

Automatic axis tilt compensation

Any deviations from the axes are automatically compensated with high precision, which allows you to further improve the quality and accuracy of the prints you create, as well as to obtain a better reproduction of the computer-aided design.

Automatic filament loading and easy layer printing in multiple colors

The printer automatically detects the end of the filament and automatically loads the next roll from the tray. The device also features a feature that allows you to easily change the color of the filament during printing, which allows you to create eye-catching, multi-color layered prints (the ColorPrint feature is now built directly into the Prusa Slicer software).

Clogged nozzle detection with print pause

If the extruder nozzle is clogged (e.g. due to a temperature mismatch with the media), the unit will detect a problem and stop working until the fault is rectified.
