Mingda MD-600D is a professional high-temperature dual-extruder FDM 3D printer for high-speed multi-color, multi-material printing. The device's efficient build volume and impressive print speed boost productivity for a variety of applications, from complex prototyping to training. In order to simplify and facilitate the production process as much as possible, the MD-600D model has a solid metal construction with increased movement accuracy, fully automated leveling, advanced print quality improvement algorithms and multiple print modes. Due to its dual extruder design, it can print the highest quality complex geometries and hollow patterns using water soluble filament.

The series also includes the MD-400D model with the IDEX system and the twin-extruder MD-1000D, which represent solutions with basically the same functions, but further volumes, which are reflected in the names.

To perform quickly and smoothly, Mingda based on a proprietary high-performance 64-bit motherboard powered by a 6-core processor. This ensures fast data processing and quick completion of 3D printing tasks. With 32 GB of memory, you can quickly store, export and print large files.

To ensure a reliable and convenient experience, the MD-600D has many useful features, such as built-in thread detector, smart printing CV function, flexible PEI development board, advanced dual cooling system, remote monitoring camera, Wi-Fi support, effective air filtration, quiet operation and an open material system, so the choice of threads is simply unlimited. In terms of software, the model supports Cura, OrcaSlicer and some other programs.

Print quality

Mingda MD-600D can produce high quality parts with smooth surface. Thanks to its dual-extruder design, the machine can print with easy-to-remove and soluble materials and can efficiently create complex models with projections, bridges and hollow structures.

With a flow rate of up to 40 mm³/s and a maximum print speed of 500 mm/s, the Mingda MD-600D is 5 times faster than competing printers, which significantly reduces production time. At up to 10000 mm/s², which means only 0.02 s from 0 to 300 mm/s, the machine can print large-scale models in a day.

 

For example, this turbine (600x500x600mm) was printed on a Mingda MD-600D with PLA-HF at 250mm/s wind speed in just 24 hours. A typical existing large format FDM printer with a print speed of 0 mm/s has 5 prints of that model per day on the market.

The MD-600D has closed-loop stepper motors. Compared to traditional systems, it opens up the possibility of feedback, higher heat production, larger and smaller. Made of metal-enclosed chamber and modular guide structure, the printer not only supports continuous printing, but also ensures the stability of the structure and the accuracy of the printing process.

To eliminate dubbing and ringing problems, the device is designed with a self-developed vibration reduction function that continuously compensates for vibration while printing at higher speeds. In addition, the flow control mechanism allows precise control of the amount of yarn, eliminating under- and over-extrusion. This improves print quality and accuracy with sharper details.

The MD-600D features an automatic leveling system that greatly improves print efficiency and quality stability, and helps reduce failures due to poorly leveled design plates. Precise nozzle spacing calibration also allows the printer to create models with finer layer resolution.

In addition, the machine boasts a flexible PEI platform. Thanks to its impressive viscosity design, the panels provide strong adhesion, high temperature resistance and support for a wide range of consumables. In addition, it aims to prevent the deformation of the model and easily cancel the prints by bending.


Last but not least, the printer has a powerful dual cooling system with an aerodynamic air channel design that ensures speed and ensures high-speed cooling of each layer. This provides exceptional casting accuracy and reduced risk of stringing and warping.

Materials

The Mingda MD-600D has a dual-drive direct extruder that offers a unique ability to handle flexible filaments. In addition, the machine is designed to fit both high-altitude environments and normal hot installations. The maximum temperature of the base hotend can reach 250 °C, supports popular materials such as PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU, etc.


With an all-metal hotend and a hardened steel tip that can heat up to 350°C, the MD-600D model can reliably print with a variety of engineering and composite filaments, including PET-carbon fiber, PET-glass fiber, nylon. carbon fiber, nylon fiberglass and more, ensuring high dimensional accuracy and surface quality of printed parts. When switching material types, the hotend does not need to be changed. In addition, the dual-extruder structure allows multi-color and multi-material printing with support filaments such as S-Multi, S-HtPA, PVA, etc.

In addition, the MD-600D has a quick-heating aluminum alloy platform with a maximum temperature of 110 °C. Evenly heated and capable of reaching 60°C in approximately 75 seconds, it ensures strong first layer adhesion and overall print quality. The heating speed does not change at 220V and 110V.

The Mingda MD-600D 3D printer offers a capacious 23.6 x 23.6 x 23.6-inch (600 x 600 x 600 mm) build area. This volume makes it possible to produce models of various sizes, including quite large ones, in addition to batches, which saves time and increases productivity.


Printer Drivers and Software

The Mingda MD-600D is designed with a 7-inch IPS high-definition computer screen with an intuitive and well-organized user interface, available in multiple languages. Unlike traditional LCD screens, it is unique, with rich and natural high-quality images from any angle. In addition, it is more environmentally friendly and saves electricity.


The device supports SD, U-disk and Type-C connection. By connecting via Wi-Fi or a network cable, the MD-600D can be controlled remotely and monitored in real time. At the same time, it leads to multi-machine control, greatly facilitates and accelerates mass production.

To ensure smooth and trouble-free operation, the machine performs a self-test when the power is turned on. It checks the status of the extruder, hotbed, camera, leveling, fan and other components.
