The modules of the Atom series are the smallest main modules created by M5Stack. The idea behind the development of the Atom series was to create a miniature master module with great possibilities. Another feature of the M5Stack devices is the banal way of combining accessories with master modules. The Atom Matrix features a 5 x 5 RGB LED matrix on the front of the device.
The Matrix version is ideal for use wherever light signals are used, the Matrix can be successfully used as the main module to control the operation of sensors and signal when a phenomenon occurs. In this case, you can use dedicated expansion modules from M5Stack or sensors equipped with a connector known from the Grove system. Connection of the expansion devices is trivially simple and requires connecting the cable to the Grove connector or to the GPIO connector on the back of the device.
