Product characteristics

• Repair kit for damaged or worn V-COIL threads.
• Drilling : Drill damaged threads with a regular twist drill. In the case of spark plug threads, drilling is not necessary; in this case, drilling and cutting tools are used. When cutting the thread, please make sure the hole diameter is appropriate.
• Check: Check whether the tap and threaded pins have the same thread and pitch.
• Thread: A special V-Coil tap cuts a given thread in a drilled hole. It is recommended to use cutting oil.
• Installing the Thread Insert: Place the insert on the tool, making sure the driving pins are positioned in the tap grooves, and then adjust using the adjusting ring. Screw in the insert according to the thread turn under light pressure.
• Do not turn in the opposite direction to the screwing direction, as the pin may break off.
• Pin breakage : After installation, remove the tool and remove the driving pin with a pin breaker. In the case of larger dimensions and in the case of spark plug threads, the pin is removed with pointed pliers.
• Thanks to the tight and precise tolerances and the forming process, once these operations are completed, a thread is created that is often better and stronger than the original thread.
• Application: Reinforcing threads from materials with limited shear strength, e.g. aluminum and magnesium alloys, use in machine production, in the automotive, electrical, medical and aviation industries, repairing damaged or worn threads, reusing defective products.
• Delivered: up to size M12 in a plastic cassette, from size M14 in a metal cassette.
• The offer also includes thread repair kits for the following types: metric, metric fine thread MF, UNC, UNF, UNx8, as well as for BSW, BSF (British Standard Fine) and G (BSP) threads.

Purchased items are delivered locally through Venipak service. Depending on availability of items, orders are processed within 1-3 work days. Orders made until 1AM are shipped the same day.

Local delivery  (1-4 w.d.) price for items of any size is through through courier service is 4.90€ (incl. VAT), if the amount of the shopping cart exceeds 70€ - delivery is free.

Local delivery price to Venipak parcel terminals (1-3w.d.) is 2.90€ incl. VAT, if the amount of the shopping cart exceeds 50€ - delivery is free.

Local delivery price to Omniva parcel terminals (1-3w.d.) is 3.90€ incl. VAT,if the amount of the shopping cart exceeds 70€ - delivery is free.

Payment on delivery (COD) +2.00€ (incl. VAT).

You can pay for the goods at the time of delivery to the courier in cash or by credit card. Payment to Omniva parcel terminals is only possible by bank card.
