Laser scanner using ToF (Time of Flight) technology based on distance measurement according to the flight time of a laser pulse. Effectively detects objects at a distance of up to 12 m. The accuracy of the reading is ± 45 mm (does not change with increasing distance). An efficient algorithm enables 360° scanning, autonomous mapping and obstacle detection. The device for communication uses UART.
Lidar rotates clockwise to measure distance and allow 360° scanning. In this way, it obtains information about the point cloud and the location of obstacles as well as a contour map of the surrounding environment.
The D300 laser scanner enables measurements at a distance of up to 12 m. Provides a large mapping area. It can be used as a sensor in moving robots.
In Lider, to ensure maximum safety of use, the manufacturer used a low-energy infrared laser emitter as a light source. The laser is FDA Class 1.
