Integrated iCS-2321-L servo stepper motor - 2.1Nm Leadshine

The iCS-2321-L iCS series stepper motor is an integrated stepper motor with a 14-bit resolution incremental magnetic encoder and a driver system . The closed-loop connection of the stepper motor with the encoder solves the problems of step loss in open-loop stepper motor control systems, increasing the reliability of the system with a minimal increase in cost. The iCS-2321-L motor uses the advanced Leadshine control algorithm, based on many years of experience in stepper motor and servo control. With a very compact size and integrated all components, the iCS series drives save installation space, eliminate the time of connecting the encoder and motor cables, reduce interference, and reduce the cost of cables and assembly work. The iCS series is reliable and economical , perfect for many industrial applications, such as CNC machine tools, 3D printers, stage equipment, electronics, packaging, etc.

The ICS-2331 engine offers:

High holding torque – 2.1Nm
Improved performance, especially in low speed applications (<60 rpm)
· Soft start without "jumping" of the drive system when switching on the engine power
· Pulse control step and direction (PUL&DIR/ step and direction)
3 digital inputs, 1 digital output; all optically isolated
· 14-bit resolution incremental encoder
· RS232 communication for connection to Leadshine software (for configuration purposes)

It is recommended that the supply voltage of all integrated motors be 24VDC. Otherwise, if the motor becomes too hot, the heat can easily transfer to the drive, which may damage it.

Applications Integrated iCS stepper motors are reliable and affordable. They can be used in many low and medium speed applications, such as 3D printers, laboratory automation instruments, plotters, electronic equipment, small packaging machines, etc.

ALM Signal Connection The alarm signal is configured by default. This signal indicates the occurrence of an error such as overvoltage, overcurrent, or position tracking error. It can be used to control devices such as a relay, LED, etc., or as an input signal to electronic devices such as a PLC. For example, in a multi-axis system such as a CNC machine, when one of the axes fails, the alarm signal can be transmitted to the motion controller to take appropriate action (e.g., automatically stop the machine).

Tuning Port Connector P2 is a communication port for connecting to Leadshine software. It is only used to modify parameters, not to control the device. If you need Modbus-RS485 control, we encourage you to check out Leadshine iCS-RS series integrated stepper motors.

Tuning with DIP Switches The engine can also be configured without having to connect to the configuration program. Using the switches, we can set, among other things, the division with which the engine should work (number of steps/engine revolution), the direction of engine rotation and whether the engine should work in an open or closed feedback loop.

LED Indication The iCS series of motors have two LEDs, one red and one green. The green LED is the power indicator and is generally always on. The red LED is the protection/fault condition indicator.

Local delivery price to Venipak parcel terminals (1-3w.d.) is 2.90€ incl. VAT, if the amount of the shopping cart exceeds 50€ - delivery is free.
