• Compact slow-time industrial fuse links of the WTNH00C series are fuse links with gG (delayed) tripping characteristics.
• Fuse inserts have a compact structure, thanks to which they have a body with a reduced width compared to the standard one, which makes them cheaper and lighter.
• The reduced dimensions of the bodies do not hinder the use of industrial compact slow-time fuse inserts of the WTNH00C series in standard bases.

In a fuse, the electrical circuit is interrupted after a specified current flow time for a given current intensity. The main part of the fuse is the fuse element built into the fuse insert. The fuse is an electrical conductor that heats up as a result of current flowing through it. If the current is too high for a long time, the fuse heats up to a temperature at which it melts. When the fuse burns, an electric arc is ignited, when the current drops to zero, the arc goes out and the current stops flowing. The arc burning time depends on the disconnected voltage, current and the environment in which it burns.

The higher the current, the faster the fuse heats up and melts. Fuses have an inverse time-current characteristic, which means that the higher the current, the less time it takes to operate. After a single activation, the fuse is destroyed and must be replaced with a new one.

The main part of a fuse is the fuse element. Most often, these are copper, silver or silver-coated copper tapes. To achieve the fastest possible response to overcurrent, these tapes have narrowings or cuts. Thanks to the physical properties of the fuse and the phenomenon of fuse disintegration when the circuit is interrupted, the expected short-circuit current is additionally limited to the limited current value, which reduces the electrodynamic load on the installation.

The whole thing is enclosed in a tight, ceramic housing.

Local delivery price to Omniva parcel terminals (1-3w.d.) is 3.90€ incl. VAT,if the amount of the shopping cart exceeds 70€ - delivery is free.
