Popular current sensor ASC725 based on the Hall effect is widely used in industry, vehicle systems, communication systems. It is a viable solution and it's fairly accurate. Its typical applications include system load management, overload protection. This model was manufactured by Seeed Studio and is equipped with a standard Grove interface greatly facilitating the use of the sensor in cooperation with Arduino and Raspberry Pi for Grove Base Hat. The connection of electricity to measure is through a simple screw clamp. The sensor, to operate, has to have a power supply of 3.3 V or 5 V and it can measure a current of up to 10 A at a voltage of up to 400 V.
