CO2 carbon dioxide sensor from DFRobot equipped with the SCD41 system from Sensirion. It is based on the photoacoustic NDIR detection principle and Sensirion's patented PAsens and CMOSens technologies. Signal compensation is implemented using the built-in temperature and humidity sensor, temperature and humidity data outputs are also available.
CO2, or carbon dioxide, is a key factor affecting indoor air quality. Its high level threatens the cognitive abilities and well-being of a person. It should be monitored on an ongoing basis, and any deviations from the norm should be immediately signaled.
