24 V electric lock. The device is widely used in projects related to automation, it can be used for electronically controlled closing systems for doors, gates or windows. Due to its small size, it is also great for mounting in various types of cabinets or drawers. The output of the electric lock is a cable terminated with a 2-pin connector with a pitch of 2.54 mm.
The electric lock is based on an electromagnet. When the electric voltage is applied to the electromagnet coil, it creates an electromagnetic field that attracts the extended pin and releases the lock, allowing the door or gate to be opened. Disconnecting the voltage supplying the electromagnet closes the lock.
