The matrix is composed of 256 RGB LEDs, each of which can be managed separately to reflect the color from 24-bit palette. The elements are evenly distributed in eight rows and eight columns. The module needs only one pin of any microcontroller (e.g. Arduino). The system is powered by 5V, consuming not more than 60 mA for each led (white color). Applied communication protocol enables the serial connection of the matrix. Another NeoMatrix should be connected to the output connector, combining with each other respectively, 5V, GND, DOUT and DIN. The manufacturer notes that when using four or more matrices, there may not be enough RAM in the system Arduino Uno. You should also note that every following matrix will require increasing the productivity power.
