EasyPrint Carbon is a new type of high-performance filament for your 3D printer. The natural PLA is reinforced with carbon fiber. This results in a filament that is very rigid and has a high impact strength. EasyPrint Carbon has many applications, such as drone and RC parts, automotive parts and every application where a stiff and rigid filament is needed. Due to the abrasive nature of this filament, we highly recommend a 0,6 mm nozzle in hardened steel or similar.

EasyPrint Carbon is a very useful material that has very unique material properties. Mixed with small, chopped strands of carbon fiber, EasyPrint Carbon filament offers incredible stiffness, structure and great interlayer adhesion. Due to the fact that the risk of warping is very low, EasyPrint Carbon is very easy to 3D print and has a matte finish after 3D printing. The finished 3D prints are very stiff and useful if you need objects with a good stiffness-to-weight ratio.

EasyPrint Carbon does not require a heated print bed for processing. If your 3D printer has one, set it to 35-60 ˚C to get really good adhesion of the first layer to the print bed surface. Due to the abrasive nature of EasyPrint Carbon, we recommend that you use a hardened steel nozzle or similar for this filament. Using a normal brass nozzle is not a problem, but it will wear out the nozzle in a short time.

EasyPrint Carbon sticks to BuildTak or even better, PEI sheet. For the best result, coat your build plate with PrimaFIX or Magigoo.
