DRV8825 Stepper Motor Driver Module

The DRV8825 is a Texas Instruments chip stepper motor controller module suitable for Arduino. Its connector layout is the same as the popular A4988, but it can supply up to 1.5A of current and operate in 1/32 micro-step mode, making its operation particularly quiet and stable. Supply current is also regulated, over-temperature and over-current protection is installed.

• The maximum instantaneous current in the coil: 2.5A
• Supply voltage of the logical part: 2.5V - 5.25V
• Resolution: 1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 and 1/32 steps

Features:

• The module has a simple step and direction control interface.
• It can operate in six modes: full step, half step, 1/4 step, 1/8 step, 1/16 step and 1/32 step.
• It provides maximum motor current control with a potentiometer that allows higher than rated supply voltages to be used for motors.
• Motors can be powered from 12V to 24V voltage.
• Current consumption up to 2.5A (1.5A without external cooling).
• Thanks to the integrated voltage regulator, the user does not need to supply additional power to the logic part.
• The DRV8824 works with systems with a logic voltage of 3.3V and 5V.
• The exposed ground field at the bottom allows soldering of the cooling elements.
• The module is size and pin compatible with the A4988 controller based system.

Local delivery price to Omniva parcel terminals (1-3w.d.) is 3.90€ incl. VAT,if the amount of the shopping cart exceeds 70€ - delivery is free.
