The step down converter system is a universal power supply device. The input voltage from the converter's operating range is converted to the set output voltage, which is lower than the supply voltage. This system allows you to reduce the voltage, for example from 12V available in a car installation, to 5V to support devices operating at lower voltage.
The converter has smooth regulation of the output voltage and output current, which allows it to be used as a battery charger.
The converter is a CC/CV module, which means that we can adjust the current and voltage at the converter output. This functionality allows this module to be used as a battery charger. To properly configure the converter, set the output voltage using a potentiometer. Then load the converter output with a current meter and set the desired maximum output current value. ATTENTION - prolonged loading of the meter may damage it.
The CV potentiometer is used to set the output voltage, CC is used to set the output current.
