The BMP 280 sensor is the best and inexpensive sensor for measuring atmospheric pressure, operating with an accuracy of +/- 1 hPa. The BMP280 sensor has a built-in thermometer measuring temperature with an accuracy of +/- 1°C. Temperature measurement is needed because pressure changes with changes in temperature.

The BMP 280 sensor is the successor to the BMP085 / BMP 180 / BMP183 sensors. It is modern and very accurate. It can be used to build weather stations and for devices that measure height with an accuracy of +/- 1 meter.

The system is equipped with I2C and SPI communication interfaces, which makes it even more universal.
