Arduino Leonardo

Arduino Leonardo is one of the most popular versions of the series. The board contains an ATmega32u4 microcontroller with 20 digital inputs/outputs, 7 of which can be used as PWM outputs (eg to control motors) and 12 as analog inputs. The system operates with a 16 MHz clock signal, has 32 kB Flash program memory and 2.5 kB SRAM operational memory.

• Bootloader: With bootloader installed, all you need to program your device is the appropriate microUSB cable and software from the manufacturer's website.
• Arduino shield: the layout of the connectors allows for the installation of dedicated shields, so-called. Arduino board.

• Power Supply DC Connector: You can use any 7V to 12V power supply with a 5.5x2.1mm DC connector to power the Arduino.
• Power source USB port: The board can be powered from a computer via a microUSB cable, keeping in mind that the maximum current efficiency of the USB port is 500 mA. The Arduino has a system that protects the socket from short circuits and excessive current flow.
• ICSP connector: The module has ICSP pins for connecting an external AVR programmer.
• IOREF Pin: The IOREF pin allows direct access to the voltage at which the I/O pins operate.
• Integrated LED: An integrated LED on pin 13 allows simple program debugging.
• 3.3V output: the built-in voltage regulator allows you to power external devices with 3.3V with a current consumption of up to 50 mA.
