The HM0360 camera manufactured by ArduCam is a budget and low-cost version of the camera built specifically for the Raspberry Pi Pico and all available development boards with the RP2040 microcontroller. The HM0360 camera uses Himax Imaging's advanced 3.6 µ LED to achieve excellent performance and image sharpness even in low light. Moreover, it consumes only 140 µA in QVGA 2 fps and about 7 mA in VGA 60 fps readout mode. The module also has a built-in oscillator and RTC to reduce the latency of transmitted images. It has a sensor that provides several monitoring options with a programmable interrupt so that the host processor can be put into a low-power standby state until the sensor is notified of movement.
