The PAD-820 antenna preamplifier is designed to amplify weak terrestrial TV signals received by the receiving antenna of the ASR series. The ASR series antennas have a built-in PAD preamplifier. Purchase of a new one is only required if the original is damaged.
The PAD-820 preamplifier is intended for use only in ASR antennas. The device is powered via a coaxial cable from the output side. Due to the wide range of permissible supply voltages of 5-12V, the amplifier in question can be powered: directly from a tuner or TV set (the above devices must be able to output 5V DC voltage), or through an external power supply separator (with a power supply) of the ZZA-7 type.
