The Adafruit module is equipped with an ADXL345 accelerometer that allows measuring acceleration in three axes X, Y, and Z in the range of +- 2 g / 4 g / 8 g / 16 g. Thanks to the built-in voltage regulator of 3.3 V, it can be supplied with a voltage from 3 V to 5 V. For communication with the microcontroller it uses the I2C or SPI bus, thanks to which it is compatible with popular boards, such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi or ESP32/ESP8266. The sensor is additionally equipped with two Qwiic/STEMMA QT connectors.
