A 3D printer from the Czech company Prusa, well known among 3D printing enthusiasts. The device is based on a 32-bit motherboard and supports Input Shaper and Pressure Advance technologies, which reduce printing time by up to 70% compared to the MK3 printer, without losing quality. The dimensions of the working area of the printer are 250x210x220mm, and the entire structure is 500x550x400mm. The device is fully assembled and ready to use straight out of the box.
Improved speed
The Input Shaper and Pressure Advance technologies used in the printer's software allow you to eliminate vibration during printing and predict filament flow. Due to this, the printing time is reduced by up to 70% compared to MK3. It took her less than 20 minutes to print the Benchy model - watch the maker's video. Also, even at this speed, the printer is very quiet.
Exceptional print quality
Durable construction and new accurate 0.9° Trinamic 2130 stepper motors in X and Y axes reduce vertical fine artifact in prints. In addition, the Z-axis has thicker, 10mm rods. The result of these improvements is a very good quality of the resulting patterns, even when using complex yarns.
New extruder
The innovative Nextruder direct extruder has many new features, and the LoveBoard support board inside it makes it quick and easy to replace parts such as the thermistor, fan or heater. In addition, the Nextruder uses quick-change nozzles and has a Hall sensor that detects the end of the filament.
The perfect first coat
Getting a perfectly flat table is quite a challenge for 3D printers. Fortunately, the Prusa MK4 head has a tension gauge sensor that does this process automatically. The tip touches the table and moves through a grid of measurement points, measuring the distance and calculating the correct offset. The result is a perfect first coat on any surface, with no manual adjustments required.
Prusa Connect
The MK4 printer is fully supported by Prusa Connect, a platform that allows you to control the device online. Each connected printer has its own desktop from which you can control its operation. To increase security, the connection between the platform and the printer is encrypted.
Convenient user interface
The printer screen features an easy-to-use interface that displays model thumbnails and allows you to control the printing process. Just below the screen is a programmable RGB LED strip that shows the current status of the printer using different colors.
